Notes

'Shining Star' dahlia (Dahlia 'Shining Star') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. It grows about 31 inches tall and blooms in red-pink from early to late summer and again in autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers. F.N.G. Ruigrok bred it.

Pairs well with Purple top, Japanese forest grass, Casa Blanca lily, and Eden rose.
