Notes

Silver ball cactus (Parodia scopa) is a succulent for containers, low maintenance spots, and xeriscapes. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and dry, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It is evergreen and drought tolerant, and it grows 12 to 24 inches tall.

Pairs well with Sago palm, Dragon tree, and Coppertone stonecrop.
