Notes

Silver spurflower (Coleus argentatus) is a perennial for borders, containers, and shade gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes part sun or part shade and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deer tend to pass it by. Its gray and silver leaves spread fast, so give it room. Blue and white flowers open in early to late summer and attract bees.

Pairs well with Holly fern, Impatiens, and Polka dot plant.
