Notes
'Silveredge' daphne (Daphne burkwoodii 'Silveredge') is a shrub for hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun or part shade and average moisture. In mid to late spring, it bears fragrant, pinkish-white flowers that fill the air with scent. It grows 36 to 60 inches tall and wide, so give it room to spread. A single plant makes a tidy, rounded mound.
Pairs well with Crimson Queen Japanese maple, Lady fern, and Northwind switchgrass.
