Notes
Smooth yellow false foxglove (Aureolaria flava) is a perennial for woodland gardens and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). Yellow flowers open in mid to late summer and again in early to mid autumn. The plant can reach 84 inches tall. It grows in oak or oak-pine woods and along roadsides, so it suits a spot under mature trees.
Pairs well with Cinnamon fern, High-bush blueberry, and Golden Tiara hosta.
