Snow White swamp pink

Notes

'Snow White' swamp pink (Helonias breviscapa 'Snow White') is a perennial for shade borders and troughs. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist soil. Tidy rosettes of leathery green leaves hold white flowers with fringed petals on short stalks in early to late spring. It stays 8 to 12 inches tall and wide. It grows more easily where summers are cool.

Pairs well with Lady fern, Snake's head, and Wood sorrel.
