Notes

'Sonata' freesia (Freesia 'Sonata') is a bulb for cut flowers and specimen use. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The fragrant flowers open from early to late summer. Their petals are barium yellow with buttercup yellow edges, and the throat is somewhat lighter.

Pairs well with Apple Blossom amaryllis, American Dawn dahlia, and Vermillionaire cuphea.
