Notes
Summer snowflake (Leucojum aestivum) is a bulb for borders, woodland gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy or clay soil. White bells tipped with green hang in clusters of three to five from April to June, and they smell sweet. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The clumps are easy to care for and stay about 12 to 24 inches tall.
Pairs well with Winter aconite, Cinnamon fern, and Star magnolia.
