Notes

Tennessee coneflower (Echinacea tennesseensis) is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and meadows. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and dry to moist soil of most types. Purple petals surround coppery-orange center cones from early to late summer. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the flowers. Deer tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Standing Ovation little bluestem, Sundrops, and Indian grass.
