Notes
Thread-leaf sundew (Drosera filiformis) is a perennial for specimen use, rain gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy or clay soil. Its thread-like leaves are sticky and covered with glistening droplets that trap insects. Lavender-rose flowers open in a one-sided cluster on a leafless stalk that curves at the tip.
Pairs well with Fountain grass, Sea holly, and Blue star creeper.
