Notes
Roundleaf sundew (Drosera rotundifolia) is a perennial for containers and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and moist to wet, sandy soil. It is insectivorous, and small organisms stick to the glistening drops on its reddish leaves. White or pinkish flowers bloom near the bent end of a slender stalk. Sundews can survive on nutrient-poor soils where other plants struggle.
Pairs well with Cranberry, Emerald Green arborvitae, and Thalia daffodil.
