Notes

Threadleaf primrose monkeyflower (Erythranthe linearifolia) is a perennial for borders, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil of most types. It forms dense patches of narrow leaves and stays under 4 inches tall. Red and yellow flowers open from early to late summer and again in early autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Alaska violet, Ostrich fern, and Cinnamon fern.
