Notes

'Triple Crown' California blackberry (Rubus 'Triple Crown') is a shrub for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. White flowers open in spring and again in summer, and bees visit them. Birds also come to the plant. It grows 36 to 60 inches tall and wide, and it tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Pink Lemonade blueberry, Granny Smith apple, and Karl Foerster feather reed grass.
