Notes

Turkey oak (Quercus cerris) is a tree for pollinator gardens and low maintenance landscapes. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows in a pyramidal shape at a moderate rate and reaches 40 to 60 feet tall. Butterflies and bees visit the yellowish-green blooms, and the tree tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with White ash, Japanese barberry, and Shasta daisy.
