Notes
'Violet Delite' eggplant (Solanum melongena 'Violet Delite') is a vegetable for food gardens, containers, and borders. It is typically grown as an annual. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. Fruits are ready about 60 days to maturity, and bees visit the purple blooms. It grows erect, up to 47 inches tall.
Pairs well with Sweet Banana pepper, Kent Beauty oregano, and Robert Poore garden phlox.
