Notes

'Kent Beauty' oregano (Origanum 'Kent Beauty') is an herb for borders, rock gardens, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Pendulous pink and white flowerheads hold small, pink, shrimp-like flowers over bluish green leaves. Good winter drainage is the key to growing it well.

Pairs well with Berggarten sage, Creeping thyme, and Wall germander.
