Notes

'Washfield' short-stalked catmint (Nepeta subsessilis 'Washfield') is a perennial for rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and wide, so give it room. The fragrant plant bears blue flowers in late spring, again from early to late summer, and into early autumn.

Pairs well with Indian Summer rudbeckia, Sweet pepperbush, and Cinnamon fern.
