Notes
Whorled marshpennywort (Hydrocotyle verticillata) is a perennial for low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and moist to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It stays evergreen, grows about 12 inches tall, and spreads 12 to 24 inches. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Give it room to spread in a wet spot.
Pairs well with Northwind switchgrass, Rosepink, and Aureola Japanese forest grass.
