Notes

Anemone (Anemone coronaria) is a bulb for borders, cut flower gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Blue, red, or white flowers with black centers open in early to late spring and again in early summer. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms, and the plant tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Primrose, Casa Blanca lily, and Japanese forest grass.
