Notes

'Bordeaux' anemone (Anemone coronaria 'Bordeaux') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. The stems are extra long, up to 18 inches tall, and bees and butterflies visit the spring blooms. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Where it is not hardy, grow it in a pot and keep it in a cool, frost-free spot over winter.

Pairs well with Early Harvest tulip, White Splendour Greek thimbleweed, and Silver Chimes daffodil.
