Notes
Winter jasmine (Jasminum nudiflorum) is a shrub for borders, winter interest, ground cover, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to moist soil of most types. Arching, wiry stems form a spreading mound, and unscented yellow flowers cover the bare stems in late winter and early spring. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Give it room to spread.
Pairs well with Oakleaf hydrangea, Autumn fern, and Snake's head.
