Notes

'Yoshino flowering' cherry (Prunus 'Yoshino flowering') is a tree for use as a specimen. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. White flowers open in early to late spring. The crown spreads into a flat-topped shape, so give it room to grow wide.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Autumn fern, and Gladiolus.
