Notes

'Zeelandia' warminster broom (Cytisus boskoopii 'Zeelandia') is a shrub for ground cover, informal hedges, and the back of a border. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry soil. Fragrant pink and creamy-white flowers cover the arching branches from late spring to early summer, and bees visit them. It is sterile and drought tolerant once established, but it needs well-draining soil.

Pairs well with Mediterranean spurge, Autumn moor grass, Millenium ornamental onion, and Elfin mother of thyme.
