Notes

'Moonlight' common broom (Cytisus scoparius 'Moonlight') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to wet soil of most types. It grows fast into an arching, fragrant shrub about 5 to 6 feet tall and wide. Bees visit the spring flowers, and it handles drought and salt.

Pairs well with Lamb’s ear, Purple Sensation ornamental onion, and Karl Foerster feather reed grass.
