Notes

'T-448' onion (Allium cepa 'T-448') is a vegetable for food gardens, containers, and borders. It is typically grown as an annual. Few crops handle cold as well, and with a little winter protection it grows on through light freezes. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It is the earliest long-day overwintering onion for the North.

Pairs well with Thyme, Ellagance Purple lavender, and Sweet Success cucumber.
