Notes

'Altair' daffodil (Narcissus 'Altair') is a bulb for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The flowers are fragrant and attract butterflies and bees. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Plant it where you can enjoy the spring scent.

Pairs well with Coral Charm peony, Flowering quince, and Big bluestem.
