Notes

'Amber Mist' coneflower (Echinacea 'Amber Mist') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flower beds, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in early to late summer with yellow-orange petals around a yellow-green center cone. The flowers are fragrant and draw butterflies, bees, and birds. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Nodding onion, Sedge, and Virginia rose.
