Notes
'Yellow' coneflower (Echinacea 'Yellow') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms from early to late summer with fragrant flowers that draw butterflies, bees, and birds. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It also tolerates drought.
Pairs well with Standing Ovation little bluestem, Nodding onion, and Fire and Ice hosta.
