Notes

'Amethyst' passion flower (Passiflora 'Amethyst') is a vine for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It is evergreen, drought tolerant, and draws butterflies. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan vine, Mexican bush sage, and Red ginger.
