Notes
Amphibious bistort (Persicaria amphibia) is a perennial for pollinator gardens, meadows, and low maintenance planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. Long, prostrate stems root freely as they spread across mud or water. Dense pink flower clusters rise above them and attract bees. Plants grow quickly, so give them room.
Pairs well with Nodding onion, Indian grass, and Ox-eye daisy.
