Notes
Ox-eye daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare) is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, meadows, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. White petals surround a yellow center in spring and summer, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. You can grow it with little care.
Pairs well with Caradonna sage, Common poppy, and Purple Sensation ornamental onion.
