Notes
Antelope-horns (Asclepias asperula) is a perennial for low maintenance gardens and meadows. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and dry to moist soil of most types. The curved green seed pods look like antelope horns, which gives the plant its name. Monarch caterpillars feed on it, and bees visit the flowers. Deer tend to pass it by.
Pairs well with Blue mistflower, Purple top, and Lupine.
