Notes
Narrowleaf milkweed (Asclepias fascicularis) is a perennial for low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. The pale pink and white flowers attract bees and butterflies, and the plant hosts monarch caterpillars. Deer tend to pass it by. Its stems reach about two feet tall.
Pairs well with Blazing star, Buffalo grass, and Chaste tree.
