Notes

'Appalachian Trail' foam flower (Tiarella 'Appalachian Trail') is a perennial for borders, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. It spreads 24 to 36 inches, so give it room to fill in. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Excelsior Spanish bluebell, Prairie Fire orange New Zealand sedge, and Ravenswing cow parsley.
