Notes
'Apricot Desire' dahlia (Dahlia 'Apricot Desire') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms from early to late summer and again in autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers. Tall stems reach about 35 to 47 inches, so you can cut them for bouquets.
Pairs well with Cloud Nine switchgrass, Blue Fortune Bill Williams Mountain giant hyssop, and Purple top.
