Notes
'Ariko Zsaza' dahlia (Dahlia 'Ariko Zsaza') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. The solid orange blooms measure 4 to 6 inches across and have triangular spiral petals on plants about 3 feet tall. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers. A.C. Koot bred it.
Pairs well with Vermillionaire cuphea, Lemon Grass lemongrass, and Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta.
