Notes

Atlas cedar (Cedrus atlantica) is a tree for specimen planting, accents, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The conical evergreen has blue-green needles and grows at a moderate pace. It tolerates drought and salt, and birds visit it. Give it plenty of room, since it can reach 40 to 60 feet tall.

Pairs well with Winterberry, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Autumn fern.
