Notes

'August Frost' daylily (Hemerocallis 'August Frost') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and wide. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the fragrant blooms. Rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with American Gold Rush black-eyed Susan, Nodding onion, and Sedge.
