Notes

'Aurea' hardy fuchsia (Fuchsia magellanica 'Aurea') is a shrub for borders, containers, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. Deer tend to pass it by. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to mid autumn. Hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the arching branches.

Pairs well with Bigleaf hydrangea, Fountain grass, and Clematis.
