Notes

'Aureomarginatum' tulip tree (Liriodendron tulipifera 'Aureomarginatum') is a tree for specimen planting, pollinator gardens, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast into a tall oval shape, and its fragrant flowers draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Birds visit it too.

Pairs well with Pin oak, Little bluestem, and Buttonbush.
