Notes

'Snow Bird' tulip tree (Liriodendron tulipifera 'Snow Bird') is a tree for specimen planting, pollinator gardens, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It grows at a rapid rate and has an oval shape. The fragrant blooms appear in spring and summer and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds.

Pairs well with Pin oak, Witch hazel, Little bluestem, and False indigo.
