Notes

'Aureus' raspberry (Rubus idaeus 'Aureus') is a shrub for food gardens, hedges, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. White flowers open in spring and again in summer, and they draw butterflies, bees, and birds. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Give it room to spread.

Pairs well with Black chokeberry, Big bluestem, and Common milkweed.
