Notes

'Avenger' daffodil (Narcissus 'Avenger') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It bears fragrant white blooms with frilly orange-red cups in spring, and bees and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. J.L. Richardson bred it.

Pairs well with Lily of the valley, Shirley Temple peony, and Prairie dropseed.
