Notes

'Balucgold' lantana (Lantana camara 'Balucgold') is a shrub for pollinator gardens, containers, and ground cover. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast and stays low, and its golden yellow blooms draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. The flowers appear in summer and again in autumn.

Pairs well with Pineapple sage, Vermillionaire cuphea, and Italian cypress.
