Notes

'Beacon White' impatiens (Impatiens walleriana 'Beacon White') is an annual for borders, containers, shade gardens, and annual beds. It is typically grown as an annual. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It forms a fast-growing clumping mound 14 to 24 inches tall and wide that butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit.

Pairs well with Boston fern, Tuff Stuff mountain hydrangea, and Mexican bush sage.
