Notes

'Bengal Tiger' threadleaf coreopsis (Anacis verticillata 'Bengal Tiger') is a perennial for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Deer tend to pass it by. It forms a mounding clump of gold foliage with pink and red blooms in summer and again in autumn. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers, and it tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Red-hot poker, and Feather reed grass.
