Notes
Black Cat/Chat Noir dahlia (Dahlia Black Cat/Chat Noir) is a bulb with velvety burgundy flowers up to 8 inches wide. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry soil. It blooms from July to frost, and bees visit the flowers. Deer tend to pass it by. Protect it from winter wet, or lift and store it in a cool, dry, frost free place.
Pairs well with White sage, Sea holly, and Buffalo grass.
