Notes

'Black Taffeta' coral bells (Heuchera 'Black Taffeta') is a perennial for borders, containers, shade gardens, and woodland gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It is evergreen and salt tolerant, so it keeps its leaves through winter. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Lady's mantle, Wallflower, Blue fescue, and Cinnamon fern.
