Notes
'Blonde Ambition' blue grama (Bouteloua gracilis 'Blonde Ambition') is a clumping grass for borders, rock gardens, accents, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil of most types. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and spreads up to 30 inches. Chartreuse blooms appear in spring, summer, and autumn, and birds visit the plant.
Pairs well with Pale purple coneflower, Tiger lily, and Limeglow creeping juniper.
