Notes
Tiger lily (Lilium lancifolium) is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, containers, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Orange, fragrant blooms open in early to late summer and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. The erect stems reach about 35 to 47 inches tall and grow quickly.
Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Globe thistle, and Aureola Japanese forest grass.
